The Thumb Nail views emphasize data versus interpretation. For example on Plate margins well control to establish the occurrence of older stratigraphy is absent, however, one might reasonable infer the occurrence. In these maps I have generally allowed only the data such as well thicknesses, well showing pinchouts, subcrop and subcrop wells, and penetrations to constrain the contouring, and so these plate margin interpretive occurrences that might be inferred from regional geology are generally left out of these maps. Data may have omitted to deter using these maps without license.
