Expermental Map IV of Madagascar

This map was constructed by overlaying translucent images. The gray tones fabric comes from the JERS-1 SAR Global Rain Forest Mapping Project, and the colors come from the DEM data. So color is showing elevation from yellows at the lowest elevations near sea level to blues at highest elevations on the island.
