This map is a combination of structural contouring at the base of the pre-Neogene unconformity and the digital elevation data for the Arabian Plate. Darker shades of blue represent lower structrual elevations Various faults and lineaments have been interpreted from multiple sources including imagery and enhanced DEM data. Hydrocarbons are shown semi-quantitatively as green and red disks scaled to a log diameter dimension. On the Northwest margin of the map the Suture is shown in a double white line and Cretaceous Thrusting is shown as a black thrust symbol.
